For less gravel and more distance, turn north from #55 at Smeaton
onto Highway #106 into Narrow Hills Provincial Park,
then West onto #913 to Piprell Lake Road

FRIDAY
-Base camp will be set up (4:00 PM) at Piprell Lake
-Shooting around campground
-Informal group discussion/ supper
-9:00 PM Slide Show
Everyone is invited to showcase their work!

SATURDAY
-Early morning lakeside shoot
-Breakfast at base camp 8:00 AM
-Soup & sandwiches for lunch
-We will spend the day in this area

SATURDAY EVENING
-B-B-Q at base camp
-Sunset shoot

SUNDAY AM
-Pancake breakfast 8:00 AM
-Lunch at base camp (2:00 PM?)
-Wrap-up and pack-up (3:00 PM)

Over the weekend we will travel to various areas; such as Gem Lakes, Heritage Lake, Little Bear Lake

--REGISTRATION FEE WILL INCLUDE TOUR TRANSPORTATION and MEALS,

--Camping fees or cabin rentals are the responsibility of the participant.

Cabins sleep 4 - available without water ($45 per night plus bedding, plus tax) or
with running water $55 plus bedding, plus tax).
Campsite will be $15 per night.

--WE WILL BE SHOOTING IN ANY WEATHER - PLEASE BE PREPARED!!

You will be able to bring ALL your equipment – we will never be far from the vehicles
We suggest at a minimum:
-Tripod -Polarizing filter -Black & White film
-8 rolls of your favourite film; this is also a good time to experiment with different films
-Spare batteries -small flash or reflector
-Rain/cold weather clothing -Hiking boots or sturdy shoes -Extra dry footwear!
-Bug spray -Drinks -Snacks -Your usual outdoor extras
-The club will supply plates, cups, etc for meals – but a travel mug with lid is always a good idea!
-Evenings around the campfire are BYOB if so inclined

We will ‘focus’ mostly on macro photography in this area,
with some landscape opportunities at Gem Lakes.

Due to the location, we will be unable to provide a film processing run.
